We’re creating dialogue around innovation and social impact. We want to ignite conversations and discourse around development work, social enterprises, and public service. We desire many voices around innovation, current leaders bringing about a new tide in development work (foreign and local), and what’s happening at MIT.
We believe there is space for more dialogue about social impact – what’s working, what are the hurdles, what are the trends, who are the leaders, where is the support, what resources exist.
With this blog, we hope to start diverse conversation around the challenges that exist, the technologies and systems built to address those challenges, the leading dialogue around areas like Millennium Development Goals and share the trajectory of IDEAS Global Challenge and the teams that enter.
Read, comment, and share — let’s get these conversations started!
The MIT IDEAS Global Challenge supports students’ innovative and entrepreneurial public service projects, through an annual competition that awards up to $10,000 per team for the best ideas to tackle barriers to well-being.
