BioBuilder

Dept of Biological Engineering

Description

BioBuilder educates, trains, and builds a community around biological engineering and synthetic biology. It offers open-access animations that teach science and engineering through conversations between a lab scientist, Systems Sally, and an excited young learner, Device Dude. One-page comics link to a wiki with instructions to perform hands-on activities suitable for advanced high school classes, community colleges, and undergraduate programs. BioBuilder also hosts a forum for teachers to communicate with one another and for students to share the data they have collected.
